Shipping & In-Store Pickups
CHRISTMAS DELIVERY CUTOFF DATES
To give your order the best chance of arriving in time for Christmas, order as early as you can. We advise you place your order before the following dates:
- Standard Shipping: Order by 16th December
- Express Shipping: Order by 18th December

Important Delivery Information
These delivery instructions apply exclusively to cameras, lenses, binoculars, bags, and accessories. They do not apply to print products. For delivery details on print products, please visit the print centre where your order was placed. If you ordered prints from your local store, please contact the store directly for delivery information.
Shipping Costs
- Standard Shipping: $9.95
- Express Shipping: $15.00
For orders under $99, a flat rate of $9.95 applies for delivery across Australia. Orders over $99 qualify for free standard delivery, excluding large and bulky Celestron and Skywatcher telescopes, which have specific delivery fees based on the item and destination. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.
Order Dispatch and Delivery Times
- In-stock items: Orders are typically dispatched within one business day.
- Peak periods (e.g., Christmas or major sales): Dispatch may take 2-3 business days due to high demand.
For low-stock items, dispatch times may be longer. If you need further information, please contact your local store.
Delivery Locations
We deliver only within Australia via Australia Post’s eParcel service. For international shipping, please email us for a quote at sales@leedervilleoptics.com.au
Order Pick-Up
If the product is in stock at your selected store, your order will usually be ready for pick-up within 2 hours. To use this option, make sure to select “Pick-Up In-Store” during the checkout process.
When collecting your order, please bring:
- Your order number
- A valid photo ID
These are required to release your order.
Tracking Your Order
You can track your order via the Australia Post website. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email from Leederville Optics with a shipping confirmation and a tracking number.
Missed Deliveries
To ensure smooth delivery, we recommend providing an address where you’ll be available during the day to sign for your parcel. Deliveries can be made to business or residential addresses.
If no one is available at the delivery address, a notification card will be left, allowing you to collect your parcel from your local post office.
Updating Delivery Details
You can update your delivery address before your order is dispatched by emailing us at sales@leedervilleoptics.com.au. Please note that once your order has been dispatched, changes to the delivery address cannot be made.
